TechBuffalo welcomes Rachel Eastlack, Community Impact Program Lead to the team.

About Rachel:
Rachel joins TechBuffalo with ample experience in program management, development, and coordination. As a trained social worker, Rachel brings a trauma-informed and person-centered lens in hopes to further create a diverse and equitable tech landscape within the Buffalo community.

Why did you join the TechBuffalo team?
I joined TechBuffalo as a social worker stepping into tech! Leading Community Impact allows me to connect with community members, employers & stakeholders through an inclusive, trauma-informed lens while maximizing TechBuffalo’s impact and organizational outcomes!

Are you a sports fan?
Big fan of the Bills, of course!

What’s your idea of a perfect day
My perfect day would include: sleeping in, a homemade breakfast, a quick workout, usually spin, & time spent with close friends. It also helps if it’s warm & we can spend time outside!

What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
My favorite weekend activity from May – November is Saturday morning at the Bidwell Farmer’s Market. I’m a big fan of the “make your own bouquet” flower stand and sharing Butterblock pastries! I also love thrifting!

How do you spend your free time?
In my free time, I am usually working on my passion project, At Home on Heath, where I thrift & stage vintage furniture.

Welcome to the team, Rachel!
