PowerUpTech gives you a proverbial “key to the city” — opening doors to industry leaders, signature Buffalo experiences, and a 500+ alumni network rooted in Buffalo’s fast-growing tech economy. You’ll collaborate with a citywide cohort of other interns and take part in curated events that showcase all that Buffalo has to offer.
Signature summer events include:
- Tech Design Challenge: Where you and a team of peers work with a local nonprofit on real-world challenges and pitch your solutions.
- College, Career, Community: A half-day of professional and personal development with industry experts.
- Discover Buffalo: Take a walk (and subway ride) down Buffalo’s innovation corridor, and envision what your life could like within it.
The program will also feature several optional after-hours events, ensuring you have plenty of time to explore all that Buffalo has to offer young professionals.
