Local employers in Western New York have joined together to invest in you through a fully-sponsored data analytics course at General Assembly (GA). This full-time in-person training will run from January 18 to April 11, Monday – Friday, 9-5, and equip you with sought-after analytics skills such as data collection, analysis, and visualization. Get hands-on experience with Excel, SQL, and Power BI, and transform raw data into a critical decision-making tool. 

You do not need technical experience to participate. Graduates of this program will be eligible to receive career support and exclusive hiring opportunities in Data Analyst roles through this partnership. 

As a data analyst, you’ll use data to draw conclusions and make predictions essential for business growth. With your new skills in digital tools such as Excel, SQL, and PowerBI, you’ll illustrate data through storytelling and organize raw information into measurable trends and valuable insights

This program is FREE for Western New York residents who qualify and register through this site. Eligible candidates must be residents of Western New York (Niagara, Erie, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Monroe, Livingston, Wayne, Ontario, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, or Allegheny county). How It Works

    Jump to “Get Started” to submit your information.
  2. Expect a Response
    Within 24–72 hours, you will receive an email or phone call from a GA team member to explain the Admissions process, learn about your background and career goals, and discuss if the course is a good fit for you.
  3. Participate in the Admissions Process
    To be accepted into the program, you will need to complete 10 hours of self-led learning along with an assessment as well as a 45-minute interview to guarantee your place in the program.
  4. Begin the Course
    Upon acceptance into the program, start your learning journey with our full-time instructor-led program! Classes will be Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
  5. Finish the Course & Update Your Resume
    Showcase your new skills in an updated resume or LinkedIn profile, and participate in career services for hiring opportunities in your city. All participants who complete the program are guaranteed an interview with a Buffalo-based employer.
