PowerUpTech unites interns across employers, curating a premier Live–Work–Play immersion that showcases all Buffalo has to offer and gives them exclusive access to industry leaders, workshops, and challenges that accelerate skill growth.

Interns participate in skill-building workshops and curated local events, creating a wholistic summer program that leaves them not just well-prepared to enter the workforce, but well-prepared to enter Buffalo’s workforce.

The outcome: Confident interns, real community, and soon-to-graduate talent now excited to stay in Buffalo.

Access our pre-vetted candidate database

If your summer intern candidate search keeps finding its way to the bottom of your to-do list, we’ve got you covered. In partnership with top recruiting firm Aleron, we are pre-screening hundreds of intern candidates from across the country. By participating in PowerUpTech, you will gain access to the database of candidates.

Every candidate undergoes a comprehensive three-step screening process: 1) Skill testing to demonstrate technical ability; 2) Behavioral assessment to align with employer culture; and 3) Professional presence to determine polish and adaptability. Out-of-town candidates may also be eligible for free, furnished housing.

If you prefer to run your own intern search, that’s good by us! Your interns are still very much welcomed in our PowerUpTech summer intern experience.
